It’s simple; no native plants, no birds, bees, butterflies or other pollinators. Since 75% of our food crops rely on pollinators, I would have to say pollinators are pretty important!

I just love this quote by Henry David Thoreau! The bluebird is such a bright, beautiful shade of blue and always seems to evoke a smile from me, even when I am feeling down. It’s as if he really carries the Carolina blue sky on his back.

It all started with a simple, little bird at a simple, little feeder and grew from there.
